When your mind, bewildered by hearing, will become unshakeable and steady in contemplation then you will attain to yoga.

Then the mind which wonders after the senses become steady in the contemplation of the self. When your intellect become steady in the joy of contemplation, you will achieve this full yogic state. Arjuna said

Shri Krishna means here that when we have our mind, away from sensual inputs, is fixed on the Supreme and we take the work done by our organs,as His work done through our body, hence leaving the desire for fruits, Then we can be said to be in Yoga with the supreme!

Krishna is not making a Zombie out of Arjun. He never told him to leave this Maya and become a Sanyasi...He told him -Fight and over-throw thy opponents!!...Remember me and Fight!! Give up all thy workds to me with a heart full of spirituality, and free from craving, free from selfish claims, fight ! Let the fever of thy soul pass from thee

Shri Krishna further said - whosoever has his temperament purged from egoism, whosoever suffers not his soul to receive the impress of the deed, though he slays the whole world yet he slays not and is not bound

666 was probably right in a way. that was a quote from Lord Krishna to Arjuna. the last two words of the quote, may be not necessary, also the grammatical mistakes ... but above all may be the fruits of incessant contemplation is something to be experienced only ... people talk of a walking zombie thing an enlightened ... may be just as those ones who might have been afraid of the resurrection of Jesus Christ at that time ... Here the philosophy is dead, but not yet dead, its something like transcending the death, just as Jesus Christ did, probably Lord Krishna is telling everybody can ... probably something to experience only ...if you may like to see the source link of Jnaneswari viz Bhagavad Gita ... providing it if any one wishes to see ..

In Zen Buddhism this contemplation is translated as intuitive insight into the essence of thing. Ergo there is no need to chase after some utopian truth, it will surfice to simply consider the matter at hand. Samsura is Enlightenment and Enlightenment is Samsura, . This kind of truth is like the pealing of an onion, where one can remove layer after layer and yet still see an onion!

Three co-ordinates are taken into consideration. Mind, body and purpose. Krishna was able to meet all the co-ordinates at one point for Arjuna. Since many aspects come to a point or are added, that is known as yoga or addition.
