I'm a little concern because with my old pill I lost weight , clear my skin and no bloating at all. since I've been on Seasonal I gain weight ( I haven't change my eating habits or exercise) I wake up bloated every day to the point that My clothes doesn't fit anymore on my waist and the worst My face is full of pimples. Should I go back to the old pill or should I wait until my body get used to this new pill ??? My dr. said that i need to wait but I feel horrible between my weight and face is not good! does anyone take seasonal and have the same symptoms??? what should I do???

Birth Control Pills can do alot to your body and make you have symptoms like your pregnant... The perpose of the Pill or birth control in generial is to fake out you body in to thinking that you are pregnant so that way you dont get pregnant... So all the symptoms should be fine but if they do cause a problem or get very uncomfortable then talk to your Obgyn!!

I'm not on the Seasonal brand but my usual birth control pill allows me to do the same thing, I take three packs in a row, and then have a week off for a period, just like Seasonal. I haven't had any side effects at all, except that my period is really light when I do get it, and is usually just uterine lining with little or no blood. I only need pantyliners for it, wouldn't even fill a tampon.

As far as I know it can, alot of birth control pills can. If you like the ortho tri cyclen better just request to be put back on it. OTC does help alot of women keep a clean complexion and lose some weight. Its your body and you know it better than any doctor or any other person. You can tell your dr. you want to go back on OTC. and if not, hey their are a lot of new birth control methods, patch, ring, shot, pills you name it they got it, you just have to find what works for you, and it sounds like OTC does just that! Good Luck

It takes a while for your body to adjust to new birth control. You should give it some time... otherwise, it might be the same story with whatever you try next and it will just prolong the agony.

I experienced the same thing when I started with Marvelon. After about six weeks my skin and weight went back to normal.
