Pros:
Makes your legs look longer.
Makes you look taller.
Makes you look slimmer.

Cons:
Not good for your back at all.
Messes with alignment of entire back and neck.
Makes your feet hurt.
Not sexy to hobble around in pain.
Can do permanent damage to your feet.

So:
Wear them occasionally, if you MUST.
Keep the heel as low as you can stand it.
Wear them only when you have to....for example take along houseshoes to wear on the way home, if possible.
Don't do the dishes in them.
Or run the marathon.

Heels give people back and/or hip problems if they are too high. Ask any doctor. Also many of them are bad for the toes. Square-toed shoes are not as desireable but are best so you are less likely to get those toes that cross over like grandma!

They're fine, but don't wear them too much. I hear it'll disfigure your ankle shape or something like that, not too sure.
