1. Cut-off with your friend completely
2. Restrict your time with your friend to minimum, or secrecy
3. Tell him to shut up & mind his own business
4. Dump him, because you think he is too insecure or immature

The wording of it is a bit harsh, but I would make clear that my husband does not have the right to tell me whom I can have as a friend. So, basically, 3, but in a nicer way.

I would start with 3, but would end with 4 if necessary. Nobody tells me who I can talk to, hang out with, or have for a friend. Any man who tried it with me would lose my respect, and my company.
