everytime i got a slinky, it always got all tangled up...and i would get so mad and tried to untangle it and it just got worse...

It won't work if the stairs are too wide or if you use the cheap "kinda" slinky off brand

Yes, but only the old-school full-sized metal ones. None of the others work on standard stairs.
