Why everyone so rude to thin people? You are supposed to be nice to overweight people. Some overweight people have eating disorders, others r just genetically fat..same is d case with thin ppl. I am genetically thin, I eat constantly, and have even resorted to doctors about my weight gain problem, I have a small bone structure naturally, and I am constantly picked on for it. My size is constantly the center of attention in a crowded room, and I hate it. I would never be as rude as to walk up to someone and tell them that they are fat.

i read this comment on a site, made me angry..

" All the skeleton thin people I see photos of and even running around here in Berlin are scary to look at. The brain is really a f*cked thing."...now ppl r saying thin is out...damn wen was it in newayz, just coz sum girls decided to starve themselves does not mean all thin ppl r doing d same...i eat more then or as much as my hubby does, eat so much tht my family gets tired...i just dont put on weight

all I can do is sympathize! I was that way all my life until I hit about 50. I will never be fat. I am just now looking "normal". I wish I could say more to help, having lived with it and all the rotten things people say. I never did let it get me bitter and nasty where I was saying things back that made me look like a rotten person. I used to beat them to the punch on the stupid sayings. "yeah, yeah, I know, hold the soap or I'll go down the drain, stick out my tongue and you'll use me as a zipper, drink some punch and you'll use me as a thermometer" and laugh it off. That doesn't mean it didn't piss me off, though! I'll never know what makes anyone think they can comment on anybody's weight, no matter what it is. Sometimes I would just shrug it off and say "just lucky, I guess".

There are a ton of people out there that are too shallow to be able to appreciate people for anything more than their appearance. It's not about You though..it's about them. Think about it for a while until you realize exactly who it really is that is at the loss..it surely isn't you...you obviously have the ability to see people for who they really are. A little adversity never truly hurt anyone because through it we learn to accept others in the same way that they accept ourselves..plus, the instant a person makes a snap judgement about a person being too fat, thin or bald..haven't they simply made themselves out to be the idiot?

Never let another persons opinion of your appearance define who you are in any way, shape, or form.

it all comes back to one thing:

humans. are. small. minded. and. selfish.

now any suggestions as to what we should do about it? because i'm out of ideas. my brother is genetically overweight-he barely eats anything and he was literally tortured by kids and had to leave the school he was at. and went on anti-depressents. when he was only 10. he's been scarred for life and i just want to find a solution.

i have just recently lost weight and have seen people i havent seen for years, all of them assumed i was not eating or taking diet pills. it made me really angry to know that people dont think i could work out and eat healthy to do it. but all i do is ignore them because i am very proud of my body and the fact that i was motivated to lose weight. dont let people put you down, you are who you are and your not gonna change that for anyone!

It hurts to have people assume you have an eating disorder or you're on drugs. People are rude to me because i'm thin. I hate it. I can't help being thin just like some people can't help being heavy. It is upsetting to me.

And not all fat people overeat and are lazy and dirty.

Stereotypes go both ways. We learn to stop generalizing EVERYONE.
