Or, did it just come to you?

Not to say that either of the two are separate.

I have thought over that matter many times and have come up with the same conclusion, I learned not to question my purpose but to let it find me.
And on the note of Gods, if religion is true then many questions come into play, and again I come to the same conclusion.
We as human beings have taken things to literal and turned religion into something else that maybe what it was intentionally meant to be.

We are mistaken if we think we are questioning ourselves . We are not. We are loudthinking and and we are asking only the creator. Because he/ she is not around, we are questioning the learned teachers and the philosophers.

The rest of the people can only say what they think. They will never have any proof. Only those who have felt the creator and his/her awesome power and imagination, would be able to make a reasonable guess.

The teachers point out an example of the ocean ( creator) and the waves.( humans) . A billion waves will come and reach the shores and merge back with the ocean. The waves are a part of the ocean and lives for short time. Its ultimate reach is the ocean itself.

The philosophical answer to that question is that in most monotheistic religions, it is believed that God does not do things in self interest. Everything is done for the greater purpose, not for his own.

However, interestingly enough most polytheistic religions feature Gods with very 'human' emotions. Greek, Roman, and Hindu religions have very self interested Gods.

I don't question my own purpose, because I think it is counter intuitive.

Not everything has to have a good reason behind it, this world is much more unreasonable than that. If you transcend time, you really don't need a purpose.
