I have two kids and I love them to death. My wife got pregnant both times "accidentally" and I dont buy it a bit. She knew I'd say no so I guess thats how "the accident" happen. have a conversation. tell him that you are ready to have a family and want to start trying. and then ask him if he's ready. if he says yes--great. if he says no, or not sure. not sure if age is a factor--but then tell him that it might not happen the first time or quickly for that matter, some people have a hard time getting pregnant...and it could take time...and that if there is a problem, you want to know...and simply just time to start a family. give him a few weeks to think about it before you bring it up again. and also, there is NEVER a good time...so don't let him go there. but, if he gives you a time frame you can live with...then great.
