what is wi-fi. does the 60gb playstation 3 come with wi-fi. is wi-fi like connection to the enternet.please help.

Wi-Fi is a method of connecting to the internet wirelessly. Although not as fast as a direct connection (depending on your internet speed), it is becoming more common due to not needing that cable. (less cables are better :-) )
And yes, the 60gb version of the PS3 comes with built in Wi-Fi.

Wi-fi is basically a way in which one does not need to have a internet cord hooked up; it wirelessly connects to the internet if one has a wireless modem. Yes, the 60gb PS3 comes with wi-fi. If I were you though, I would not purchase the PS3 not only because of the price but also because of the errors and troubles it will most likely have. I would purchase the Nintendo Wii if I were you.

WI-FI is a wireless internet connection. Yes the 60GB PS2 comes with built in WI-FI, not the 20GB. In order to use WI-FI, you need a wireless router so you can establish a access point.

wi-fi is just a fancy name for wireless internet reciever. yes the 60 gb version comes with it, but the 50 gb version does not.
it will let you use the web browser, play your games online, access an online store, and more!
the 20 gb (or $500) version can do the same things, but you have to run an ethernet cable to your internet router. (just not wirelessly)

Wi-fi is the future of gaming systems so get used to the technology. The 60gig system DOES come with wi-fi....it's the base model with the 20 gig that doesn't come with it. There, wi-fi is separate. Read the reviews Dutch.

wifi ,big hd's ect. are all **** loaded in there.. Seriously they should keep it simple yet inuvative like nitendo has done with the wii remote . if i wanted wifi,hds ect i would just get a computer
