Yes. Nintendo doesn't have the production problems Sony or Microsoft has(had). All the parts in the Wii are quite common. Thats why its cheap(er). Plus the crusty wal*mart employee said something about getting in another shipment within 2 days.

Nintendo will not pull a shortage like Sony and Xbox did. They are trying to make a comeback in the market and they will want everyone to make sure they get it for customer satisfaction. Some stores are claiming they will get any where from 10 units to 60 units the first day, and look for plenty more to come within the next few weeks for xmas. With everyone searching frantically for PS3 no one will be standing in line for a Wii.. It doesnt pale in comparison to the Ps3 or xbox 360. It does only one thing play games, it is not a bluray or dvd player or hd dvd player. Wii is nothing to be excited over , but if you are a nintendo lover look for this to be the king of all systems.

My friend already has it, his dad works at Nintendo. Maybe you should wait maybe about 4-5 months if you can stand that long. If you cant, then just try to get it, or put it on a n order list. I myself would just wait, it will probably not be sold out then, and there will be whole big stocks just waiting for someone to buy them.

Nintendo will have 3 times more systems availiable at launch than PS2.

It's crazy; did you see on the news the pandemonium caused by the Play Station release? These fake shortages make me angry.

they are cheap on ebay so dont waste your time they arent as big as the ps3 was so just sleep in and if you dont get one they are cheap on ebay
