When do you go at red, but stop at green?

I'm not to sure what the answer is, but if you can give me something more logical, that would be greatly appreciated

The ask for more logic tells me where you are coming from because I also see people driving this way. The people do seem to be afraid to go on the green light and have no idea they are supposed to stop on the red.

I think the answer is because they are human.

You stop at a red light but go when it turns green...now if a light is turning yellow you slow down and stop because it will turn red next...now if you go through a light coz it changed while you were nearing the intersection with not enough time to slow and stop and it turns red as you went through the intersection it's ok as long as the light was green or yellow as you entered the intersection but not if it was red...capiche?..

when you are doing a U-turn(driving), charging your batteries. Lastly, If leaves are green, they don t fall down but If leaves are red, they would fall down. This problem wants to many kinds of creative thinking in short time.

you go at red when the light is red and you are turning right, if it is safe to do so. You stop on a green when you are turning left and it isn't safe to do so!
