It would take the majority of the people to not be prejudiced against someone for their sexual preference and look at that person for their political beliefs and plans to make government work for everyone's benefit. Once the prejudice is gone, a persons sexual preference will no longer matter. We are not ready for 'gay' government yet because prejudice still exists, and the only thing that will change that prejudice is education and time.

Thats two questions. Is that allowed? Obviously it takes more to elect an honest politician than a lying one as we have so many in the closet. Gay government - they don't even like having a straight one - ask poor ol Bill.

Depends on what level of government you're talking about. There have been several openly gay people elected to various positions in different states already. If you're talking about national, like a senate position or presidency, then it would probably take a lot more people being open minded.

Because the British government are one of the governments who put all the jews there. The government have a habit of sweeping things under the carpet or running off AWOL when things go wrong (Tony "Should be tried for war crimes" Blair). "In 1922, the League of Nations granted the United Kingdom a mandate over Palestine for the express purpose of "placing the country under such political, administrative and economic conditions as will secure the establishment of the Jewish national home". The population of the area at this time was predominantly Muslim Arab, while the largest urban area in the region, Jerusalem, was predominantly Jewish. Jewish immigration continued with the Third Aliyah (1919–1923) and Fourth Aliyah (1924–1929), which together brought 100,000 Jews to Palestine."

I doubt it'll ever happen. I doubt that the voters would go for it and the 1-3% of the population who are gay are not a strong enough voting bloc to turn the tide.

Dunno what it would take to get one elected but I know that if a
gay guy got voted president, then the military and the government would be forced to adopt a better sense of style. lol

I don't care even a little about a person's sexuality. I want the politician who supports my views.
