pros/cons about the game: the sims 2?

yeah... what are the good points and bad points about this game? is it boring? fun?

The sims 2 is an awesome game. It lets you control people and allows you to play God over a few sims. So, you want to know the benefits and the disadvantages, huh? Ok.

Pros: Get to play God, vent out your anger on animated characters, create a house design, live your life vicariously through your sims, write stories about them, basically have pets that will obey and entertain you without creating a mess.

Cons: The game lags after a while, especially if you have a lot of custom content from the internet. Also, you become rather addicted to it and will find yourself unable to stop. It is also very saddening when your sims die, either of old age or some tragedy.

But all in all, I LOVE THIS GAME! I'm sorry that I couldnt put in very many cons, but I'm sure some pessimistic (sp?) person will have a lot to say on that matter.

I have to admit there aren't a lot of cons to the sims 2, but nevertheless there are cons.

Pros:

1. Its fun
2. You can be creative.
3. Its in 3d.
4. Its a lot better than the first.
5. You get to create and control the people.
6. You get to build and decorate your house.
7. With expansions you can:
University: go to college
increase your available wants and how many you can lock.
Be able to get a higher level in the chosen career.
The new young adult is in this game.
New objects clothes.....etc.

Nightlife: have garages and cars.
be turned into a vampire
have turn ons and turn offs.
new objects and clothers.....etc.

Open For Business: own own business
etc.
(don't know much about this expansion cause I don't have it)

Pets: have pets
create custom pets
train them
they can have jobs
etc.

Stuff packs: gives you more objects and clothes.

Cons:
time consuming (in some cases that could be a pro)
takes up a lot of memory

Well, the pros are the game is pretty fun and exciting. You can create yourself and make the sims do things that you want your future to be like. The game is very entertaining and well it makes you feel entertained! hahahahahahahha. The cons are that you might get addicted to it. It wasted you computer spaces and you get crazy about it. hope that helps....

very fun, you get to keep people as pets! control lives. make sure the family succeds. its just all around fun. closest simulation game to the real world!
