Yes, Superman with all of his might and strength couldn't beat Doomsday, and yes, the entire Justice League was defeated in a matter of minutes. But could Spider-Man have won the battle? While not as strong as Superman, he was a lot smarter, and might have been able to outsmart Doomsday and win the battle. Your thoughts?

I seem to recall Spider Man gaining cosmic powers at some point. If he fought Doomsday with cosmic powers then maybe... but under any other circumstances, it's a flat-out no.

Spiderman while probably more popular than Superman right now, in the comic world against Doomsday?! Not a chance in H. E. Double Hockey Sticks 77EH!!
Are you saying that with the entire collective knowledge on Krypton that Spiderman is smarter than Superman? Or that there are not just as powerful or smart of super heroes in the Justice League? Get real.
The only thing that Spiderman is better at than Superman is his movies. Stan Lee is a genuis but Spiderman is no Superman.
Good luck finding a real comic fan saying Spiderman could deafeat Doomsday.

Spiderman can not defeat doomsday under no circumstance. doomsday was engineered through superman's jeans he is indestructible and even if you were to find a weakness u cant defeat him twice with the same method because he simulates and adjust constantly. Nothing in the know universe can defeat him. This is such a mismatch. He is unstoppable the only thing that you can do is trap him in some type of demision or let him drift through space

I'm not sure whether Spidey is more intelligent than Superman. He's certainly got his inventing skills going for him, and he's probably got the edge in street smarts too. But even so, I doubt he's got anything even close to what it'd take to beat Doomsday.
Unless he got REALLY lucky, I s'pose...

I doubt it---it is a unique idea though.
Still think raw power would tire Spidey out and leave him open to a fatal attack!
