Our main kitchen table is round and seats 4, we had another round table that seats 4 in the family room that connects to the kitchen, two chairs at the kitchen island and a square folding card table that seats 4. There are also two chair and a love seat in the family room so we put small tables next to them to accommodate another 4 people.

I have a table that seats 6. So when the whole family comes I use card tables and I set those tables just as nice as the table that seats 6. The space is open so we are all closely sitting together.

im hosting the dinner this year and we'll be having it out in our 4 car garage! i kid you not - there's a great wood stove out there and plenty of seating - 2 couches, 3 recliners.. lots of folding chairs - it'll be great for my wild redneckin family! if they spill anything we can just hose it down!
