I love Nicholas Sparks soooo much. I was wondering what other people think of him and what their favorite books are.

I loved the Guardian. It was a tearjerker like most of his other books, but a little bit scary as well. The man stalking the main character really freaked me out. My husband was away when I read this, and I remember closing my blinds at night, afraid that someone might be looking in. I also loved The Notebook, both the book, and the movie.

I worship The Notebook like it is the second Bible. The way it takes the appropriate time for two people to get to know each other, fall in love, grow apart, and then return to one another is exquisite literature. Nicholas Sparks has a way of making it real without making it sappy and cliche`. I adore most of what he writes.
