I think that when you make good decisions, good things tend to happen, and vice versa. I have never noticed that when I make a good decision, something bad happens.
I HAVE noticed that sometimes if I judge someone else for something, I find myself in a similar situation, though. I think there is yin and yang - there is a balance. Life is full of lessons, and you can face them head on or you can run from them but eventually you have to learn. If we aren't here to learn and grow there's really no other purpose to life. Awareness is key.

Cosmic balance is rooted in "Existential Trans-Universal Laws" having to do with the dualistic nature of the universe, i.e. positive and negative forces, matter and anit-matter, good and evil, light and dark, male and female, and so on. When the pendulum swings too far or too long in either direction, then the universe readjusts itself with re-equilibrium until imbalance occurs yet again, and then the process is replicated. Hence, as global culture moves continually towards a secular existence enveloped in self-sufficiency without God, self-indulgence and immorality, then Divine judgment, merely the existential laws triggering auto-activation, will re-establish equilibrium usually with a “Great Discontinuity Event”, say an extinction level event, i.e. what was relayed by the accounts of the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah, or the Great Deluge.

I believe there is a balance system that is natural to be in and to learn from.I do know that I do not hold the scales, yet I am aware of them at work . I have come to understand the bad as you call it , to be a teaching of fasting, a means to direct my life toward the intended purpose.accepting the grace with gratitude.

Never noticed that. I would think that, say, the American Indians ever noticed that either. After the advent of the white man, I bet their bad things happening really seemed to stack up on them. I am sure you can think of many other examples that show things are not in the kind of balance you believe in.

When God created the Earth He pronouced it as "Good". When God created Adam and Eve and placed them in the Garden of Eden, God commanded Adam to be Lord over all the earth and tend it and nurture it. Adam named each of the animal species individually and tilled the Earth and improved it. If one believes God created the Earth as a home for mankind, and that it is good and that man has a commission to tend it and take care of it and improve it because it is a good place, belongs to God, and God has given man a commandment to be a steward over it. Not only that, but by doing this we honor God and improve our lives and the lives of our children. Darwinian evolution is based on the survival of the fittest. If you are not the fittest specie then you become extinct. If everything happens by chance and my life is a chance thing that ends with my extinction, then why shouldn't I live it up and take what I can while I can, why should I even worry about the earth or the future generations since they all eventually end in extinction and oblivion. If I onl y have one life and then oblivion with nobody to answer to, why not get what I can while there is the getting why worry about the future or the planet?

It's a fairy tale extrapolated from physics to morality that guarantees justice by virtue of metaphor...
How is metaphor a good enough guarantee for anyone??!
You know the universe doesn't care whether someone's rape goes unavenged. But you'd rather have faith by virtue of "I know not what!" that what goes around comes around, and EVEN if justice is postponed beyond death, even if that's a real possibility! Then you will be satisfied, then you can allay your fears and be a 'good' person.
No
It's a social coincidence that any 'criminal' ever receives punishment. That any 'good' person receives what they deserve. There's NO evidence for a necessary connection between the two.

No, just because something good in your life is happening doesnt mean you should be expecting bad. Be joyful.
Think about how when something so called bad has happened how you have learned for it. That makes it good!

More in terms of past life or current life karmic debts to be paid in full. I believe one comes into this incarnation with a predestined goal self-design before birth (into their current body).
. This goal includes paybacks to destined souls, in this incarnation, that is a carry-over from past lives. If you do positive and spiritually intended deeds, it can help to balance out past lives or past current life negatives acquired by poor choices or by negative acts to others. Acts, that were made during this life or during past lives.
