I hate taking pills, but I am very sick and so now I have to take pills. Pain killers and me don't mix what so ever, You'd be shocked at some of the things I've done on pain killers. So to answer your question I'd tough it out.

ONLY TAKE PAINKILLERS WHEN YOU HAVE NO CHOICE.....
Painkillers are just one way a doctor makes you depend on the doctor - pain is the body's way of letting you know that you are either sick, injured, or something else is wrong. Pain should not be ignored with painkillers unless you have no other choice. Once a doctor gets you to rely on painkillers, then you need them all the time - and after you've been on them just so long, your body gets used to them, and you need something stronger - then you need more medication to keep from getting sick taking the painkillers, then you need another medication to counteract the side effects of the first medication, and on and on and on.........

Headaches or cramps, I use painkillers. But when I had bulging and herniated discs in my back, I didn't take anything for that. That pain was my body's way of telling me something was wrong and I was afraid if I didn't feel the pain I would over do it and injure myself more.
