A friend of mine fooled around on October 25th. She didn't have "real, 100%" sex, because there wasn't real, full penetration into the vagina, and he was only fooling around for like three minutes, and he didn't ejaculate. The next week she had her period, and she says she is 100% positive it was a period, because she knows what her periods are like. A week went by and then she started having brown spotting in her underwear. It lasted for about five to six days.

She has been very stressed lately, been eating more fast food than normal, and hasn't been getting much sleep lately. Could this brown spotting be because of the factors I just mentioned? The chances of her being pregnant should be extremely small, seeing how the guy didn't really go in past the folds of skin into the actual vagina and he didn't ejaculate and barely had any pre-seminal fluid.

That's normal after sex as well as menstration. If she worried about being pregnant get an over the counter pregnancy test. Doesn't water it only takes ONCE to get pregnant especially with unprotected sex.

I would also suggest she sees the ob/gyn or her primary care if it contines.

Since she had her period most likely she is not pregnant. The spotting could have been around the time of her next ovulation. Spotting can occur if someone is under a lot of stress or ill. To put her mind at ease she should get an over the counter test. BTW...She needs to be on the pill, and he needs to use condoms, because penetration does not have to occur for pregnancy to happen. Sperm are excellent swimmers and if they are anywhere near the opening of the vagina they can get in.

It IS possible to get pregnant and have a period (TRUST ME, I KNOW) but usually you don't have one. There's a test by ept or someone that can tell up to 5 days before a missed period if you're preggers. Go get one if she's worried.
