I've found that I always get the LAST most poorly understandable, unreadable copy.

the original is usually the customer copy. The yellow one stays with the one who wrote the receipt (the third party) and the pink one goes to the company with which the sale was made from.

I usually use the one that says customer copy on the bottom of the page.
