I'm shocked people are acting the way they are with all this. I'm also shocked anyone would spend $600 on a BS3. I'm happy with my 360, and it cost me $200 less!

The hype over this thing is ridiculous...I work in a store, and our display PS3's hard drive crashed after 3 days! What a waste of time, money and energy for a system that is going to crap out in a few months and does not do what was originally promised (including being backwards compatible with the PS2 and original PS1 games!). Anyone is better off with a 360 or a Wii.

I was joking with my husband last night that we should stop by Walmart on the way home from New York, and pick one up. I'm really glad we didn't do that, even if a single machine can be sold for thousands in profits.
It is really out of hand. The stores that sell them should think of the following in the future: 1) Sell them only in the morning when the store usually opens. 2) Hire an off duty cop to protect those standing in line and to prevent mischief. 3) Install a video camera in front of the store. 4) Ask customers to put their names into a lottery and draw the names for the number of games consoles that become available. You can call them and ask them to come to the store the next morning.

OMG are you joking??? Well it's $600 in target when it comes out and there are only going to be 6 when it releases for 1 week.... THERE ARE PEOPLE CAMPING OUTSIDE OF TARGET!!!! =/ that's scary. It doesn't come out for like 3 weeks, what is the matter with people??
By the way.... the games wont even come out for along time after the ps3 comes out so why are they being like this??? Did you know you can get it online for cheaper and on ebay in a few months for like $250. It's so not worth what people are doing and paying for it. =/

The manufactures of Wii and PlayStation 3 are playing with us.
There's no reason to enter the market with a limited stock.

each store only have about 8 of them, why were there like 100 people at the door!?
I think things like black Friday and the like should be a crime. Every year people get hurt.
retailers should be held responsible. (so much hype and such low stock) they are inviting trouble.

Yes it is. Louisville, KY there was a drive-by bb gun shooting on the people who were waiting in line before the store (Best Buy) opened.
