I am 4 mos pregnant and it seems that as my pregnancy goes on I get more and more migrane headaches. I didn't have them with my first pregnancy but have really bad ones now. Any advices as to how I can deal with it?

Me too, aren't they awful?!?! Try to find the foods that trigger it. For me it was chocolate and foods with MSG and avoid those. Tylenol definately helps. Drink lots of water. A cold damp towel over your forehead (I throw mine in the freezer for a few minutes). Rest in a dark, quiet room, but I've also found walking around in fresh air helps alleviate the pain a bit. There's no quick fix since we can't take any of the good Migraine medicines, but just try to take it easy and try to keep stress levels down as well. Best of luck. I do feel your pain. I drove to a gas station at 3 in the morning this morning because I didn't have any tylenol and thought I was going to die!

I am also pregnant-6 months and I got really really bad migranes around 4 months too.It is safe to take Tylenol-but only Tylenol.I took 2 at a time.I also would lay in bed and put a cold rag over my head to help with the pain and keep light out.Another thing you can do is massage your temples and neck-or have someone do this for you-that usually helps!

I also get migraine headaches and my doctor told me to take 2 Tylenol. It helps a little bit, I used to take Aleve before I got pregnant. But, anything makes the pain go away slightly.

I also get really bad migraines as well. It makes me where my whole face and body goes numb, and my eyes also get very very blurry where I can barely see. I went to see a neurologist, and they gave me vicodine, but I only take them when I absolutely have too, but it is very rare that I do get them, but when I do it is the most horrible experience that I have ever had so far. You should talk to your doctor about your different options. I hope that this helps.

It may sound crazy to some, but going to the chiropractor while pregnant was the greatest! Helped with my headaches, blood pressure and aches and pains.

seems like you might need some serious rest... try talking to your doctor about what you can take to relieve some of it at least...
