Uncircumcised here also; and I agree with most of the other uncut guys as far as the foreskin size varying from guy to guy. Some guys have more foreskin, and it tends to cover the glans completely and even hang up to an inch beyond the glans when flaccid. Most guys have a foreskin that hangs 1/4" to 1/2" over the glans when flaccid. Some guys have less foreskin and the skin only covers about 3/4 of the glans when flaccid, and retracts completely when erect.
In my case, my foreskin covers completely when flaccid, and hangs about 1/4" beyond......and retracts on it own almost completely when I'm erect so the glans is completely exposed. It's hard to tell I'm not circumcised when I'm erect....because there is no sign of excess skin.
Best of Luck!

Both of those answers vary from person to person. But for me . . .
1. It generally hangs about half an inch past the head when soft. Sometimes more sometimes less, but not by too much.
2. Usually it only covers half the glans when erect, but if I pull it all the way back, it can stay that way if I don't pull it forward again.
What have you been thinking twice about? As long as it can go back and forth without pain there's nothing to think about.

for the poster above who said that there's no proof it cuts STD transmission risk, I suggest reading a recently published study in Pediatrics, which indeed finds that circumcised males are less likely to contract sexually transmitted diseases from their partners.
THAT said, i feel it's pretty irrelevant. If he isn't sleeping around and uses a condom properly there really isn't much to worry about; certainly not enough to cut skin off his penis for.
To answer the question
1) it doesn't hang past the head when soft (all guys are different)
2) yes because it's tight, but a gentle push and it retracts fully. It doesn't always have to for all guys; plenty have it retract fully, partially and not at all. So don't worry; unless it starts swelling or bruising or something like that you've got a perfectly normal member

Just for the record there is no proof that an uncircumcised man is more at risk from sexual diseases than a circumcised man. There is no evidence of this. In fact some say that the circumcised man lose the sensation during masturbation. Some circumcised men don't have the sensation that uncircumcised men have. Ask yourself this why is it uncircumcised men try to when masturbation try to pull the skin up the foreskin in uncircumcised men have the nerves ending but the uncircumcised man doesn’t have these ending they been cut off

ok.. im not a man, but i can help you with number 2..
if your foreskin covers the head of your penis, just simply pull it back...
by doing this, it will give you greater pleasure during sex, and also, it will help your partner to achieve sexual orgasm faster..
interesting eh?
good luck,
-kay
