Tom Hanks' death reports turn out bogus
Washington, Nov 17: Rumours are doing the rounds on the Internet that that Hollywood superstar Tom Hanks had tumbled to his death off a cliff while shooting for a film
in New Zealand. However the rumours were doused after New Zealand officials confirmed that no reports of fatal accidents involving the actor had been made.
Entertainment website TMZ also obtained photographic evidence that the actor was seen alive as recently as yesterday in California, shooting 'Charlie Wilson's War'. An official from Interpol and the police in Wellington, New Zealand, also confirmed that no report of an accidental death has been taken and they are certain no such incident
occurred.
The website, which started the rumour, allows users to plug in anyone's name to issue the fake news story.
It claimed that the actor died while filming a movie in New Zealand early on November 16, 2006at 4:30 am. It said that police officials confirmed that that the actor fell more
than 60 feet to his death on the Kauri Cliffs while on-set.

nup, it's a hoax which orriginated from a website allowing you to fill in the details and generate a XYZ is dead post. Latest I've head he's been seen in California where he's shooting in the NZ police released a statement saying they had not recieved any such report.
