My mother has always sworn by minimizers and full coverage bras and says that busty girls can not wear "those little pretty ones." And that push up bras are the absolute worst thing they can wear.
My sister, on the other hand, is a D and swears by push up bras. I'm a C myself, and I've always stuck with demi bras, because I can't stand those big industrial ones. The other day I went into Victoria's Secret looking to buy some new bras. I tried on almost everyone in the store (they discontinued my old favorite), and the Very Sexy push up fit perfect, so I bought two of them. I can't believe how supportive the bra is. I love it!
Am I getting too excited too soon? Is there such thing as too much of a good thing? I'd like to hear others' opinions.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with getting breast implants and if it makes you happy then you should seriously consider it. Talk it over with a doctor to see if you're in good health, and discuss the specific details of the procedure. A doctor should be able to tell you when us too big, and if you go too big that's when you get health problems. As someone before said, the surgeries that turn out badly are usually pretty extreme. You only want to go about a b or c (idk what size you're at now) which is hardly extreme. I'm just letting you know though, I don't know what you look like but a b can be quite small. I'm a b cup and I'm so flat chested I look like a fat little ten year old :(. I too want implants, and I'm considering saline. Yes, they can burst as can silicone, but saline isn't dangerous and it will just be absourbed into your blood stream. The material you use for your implants is one of the details you should talk to your doctor about. As for anyone going on the "love your body" rant: you either love your body or you don't. And if you don't, you probably never will unless you change it, at least a little. Yeah, it kind of sucks but that's just how it is. I personally find it hard to love my body with the recent media switch where you see a lot of full figured women boasting about how great curves are. Not everyone's curvy >:(

I think that if my older sister can wear the very padded very sexy bra with her 34 almost B and look similar in size to my 34 D chest there is no way in hell I am not going to were it two. I love the balkana bra you should try it. I feel that as long as you don't look to top heavy padded bras are just more fun and every one wears them don't let any one tell you different. ; )
Also this way you don't ever need to be concerned about the cold. wear it for a week then try your old one on again and you will laugh its wonderful. Enjoy

It depends on what kind of look you are going for. If you're from the "if you've got it, flaunt it" school of thought, then a push up bra is perfect.
If you want to be a little more demure, maybe your mom had the right idea.

Large breasted women wearing push up bras seems like a good idea to me.

No problem. Push-ups for C, D & above are fine. I'm a 38C, and I have a couple that I wear, occasionally. The fit is fine, its just that I also like to be able to see my toes without having to bend completely over. :) Also, when I get noticed, I like to be sure that its not because my boobs arrived 10 minutes before I did!

My wife has 34Ds and she wears those types of bras sometimes and my jaw drops every time. Makes a good thing even better! So, I'd say YES, it's a great idea.

I'm a D cup.....and a fan of the boxed Cross-my-Heart bras. I'm into comfort, unless it's a special occasion- then I'll squeeze the ladies into one of those push-up bras for my husband. HE thinks they are pretty cool, I'm always terrified that a vein will pop up and everyone will notice it except me. Eek.

I'm a c cup and i've worn push up bra's for 7 years or more. They are very comfortable and they make a v-neck shirt look so much prettier.

I'm a C, and I want to look perky. Not sleazy, not squooshed.
When I try on a bra, I look for about a 90 degree angle from my nipple to my ribcage to the ground.
