It depends on how they're done. I have pretty nice nails, so I don't wear the fake ones. Most of the girls I work with wear them though. I like if they're short and are french manicured, then they look pretty. But when they're super long and/or have crazy designs on them, they look really tacky.

I think they look kool I mean I get them on occasion because I chew my nails well then if Im going to like a wedding or something I can put them on and my nails wont look so crapy. So yeah I think it's pretty to have fake nails.

i think if you can tell they're fake .. it's tacky.. i think the short, french acrylics and pretty.. but they have to be the short ones... other than that.. i think is totally tacky.... i get a manicure every weekend, and my nails look good.. i file them at just the right length.. and i'm happy with them.. also.. fake nails ruin your real nails, so once you get them, if u don't like them, your real nails will be disgusting when you get them off..

Big/long nails always look tacky.
Depends on the size of your fingers also. Gals with "man hands" should avoid fake nails as they look like claws.

Fake nails are cute but acrylic nails are the best.

Well they look okay if they are not to long and most guys dont like girls with fake nails but it is such a hassle to keep up with them

I have worn them for years. I use the sports length. I have had people look at them and say "your nails are beautiful, who does them?' and I tell them, they are glue ons and they can't believe it.
So if you wear them a natural length and not the long ugly things, they can look natural. I like the brand KISS. Then I polish them myself and sometimes put little designs on them.
If I didn't wear them, I would bite my own nails up to my elbows.

Ok. I think fake nails are way gross. if your eating, if they fall off, gross. if they look good, don't get em' anyway. I found some across the street on a park bench! EWWW!

as long as they're not outlandish...they're ok. i can't have fake nails because of what i do as a profession (i work in a hospital) so the fact that the nails harbor bacteria under them prevents me from wearing them, however, as long as they're modest, they look ok to me
