You're talking about 'regifting' - right? I usually hang onto the nasty thing a little while and either toss it or pass it to someone I think will enjoy it. I don't re-wrap and give as a gift, though.

If someone gives me a gift, I give them one back regardless. Even if I do dislike that person, I have to be polite.

Yeah sometimes, there is no use in me keeping it and not doing anything with it when I can give it to someone who may actually need or want it.
