rounded side up and a gap between the boards about the eidth of a nail, that's really all you need and the water will have a place to go. You don't really need a slope at all. Just lay a board down, rounded side up, and nail it in place. Then lay the second board down and put a nail down between the first and second board before nailing that one in place. Remove the nail and there is now someplace for the water to drip off the deck. Good luck!!!
