Yes. Nintendo even claims that Wii will be compatible with every Nintendo console platform ever released and then some Genesis and TurboGrafx games as well. Not sure if they're including the VirtualBoy in there though. Remember that one? :)

Yes they are. You can play all the Gamecube games on the Wii.

yes they are, so if you're looking for a bad game to play and you only have a wii, don't fret, it can play all the crap you have for the gamecube!
