what is it like to have snow at xmas time ,we here have 40degree heat,what are the things your family does every year

When there is lots of snow the kids (including the big old kid I'm married to) go out on the 4-wheeler with the dogs and ride through the woods. I stay in the house where it's warm!!!! They come in all covered in snow--have hot chocolate, tea (the big old kid has a shot of Jack Daniels). Then we have our big dinner and play cards and listen to Christmas CD''s.

in N.Y. we've been getting a good amount of snow in the winters. I think mostly everyone are hopeful to have a "white Chrismas" b/c it brings out more of the Christmas spirit. It feels more like the traditional-type holiday to us and more joyful b/c the kids love playing in the snow.

lots and lots of sledding for kids
lots and lots of shoveling for adults.
