This half-mad neighbour threatenes me everyday without any obvious reason. He has only a false suspection that I don't let his wife go out. Please give me suggestive answers.

If you say he is half mad then just ignore him no use compromising with such a person whatever you tell him or explain him he will not listen such physcos are like that.

It doesn't matter whether he has a reason or not, threatening someone is just as illegal as actually carrying out a threat.
Call the police. Tell them he has been threatening and harassing you.
If you live in an apartment building, report this DANGEROUS weirdo to the landlord...NOW. By threatening you, he is violating his lease agreement. If both of you own your own homes, still call the police, but follow it up the next day by going into your local courthouse and filing a restraining order. That is a legal notice to have him (1) stop threatening you (2) not to do anything violent to you and (3) keep away from you and/or your home.
In most places, a restraining order is good for an immediate 24 or 48 hours, then both of you will have to go before a judge and each of you tell your side of the story. This is why you need to go to the police first. If you have not threatened this man back, or done anything to his stuff, a judge will make the restraining order longer-term, anywhere from six months to a year.

You know the fact--that you didt control his wife.Then let your neighbour be full mad.You have nothing to do with this.It is his problem and he should try to think that if his wife is not willing to go outside then let her give freedom to do so.Why he is thinking that it is like this?So tell him if you feel so--afterall its her choice and your personal matters.So sorry --what can I do.If she will be my wife then I can handle this.Ok--ok.Then he will not ask you such things again.

The best way to kill your enemy is to make him friend.
if u r staying in a rented house, you can change ur place to get peace of mind. If its ur own house, and u have friends in police, call them to ur house for a party.
Or also call him to the party before ur friends. they can make him understand. or make friendship.
