why is it my B.S. sensors are going off right now?

Federal law requires a signature when picking up presciptions....ESPECIALLY narcotics. They also require the person selling the medication to either personally know who it is they are giving it to or ID them if they don't. Most states require ID to be documented for all narcotic purchases, even when selling it to your mother.

So who's lying?

OK - are you saying that the pharmacy gave someone else your prescription?
If so, I would go back, get the store manager and make them refill it for you. I would also contact my insurance company and advise them that the pharmacy made a mistake. That way you will still have your prescription covered.
If the Pharmacy still won't give you your meds, I would contact their home office and raise a huge fuss over it.

You should report this to your local DEA agency. If your pharmacy is giving out medicine w/o checking legal documentation(drivers licence,Doctor perscription card, etc.) then they may in fact be dealing drugs to the street. That is if you are not trying to double dip the pharmacy for a second percription!?
