i own a repair shop,and it has a bad ground wire on it,,,if it has a trailer hitch on it,,look back in the rear section where the wiring harness is on it,and there is a thin black wire that is the ground wire,it is broken or loose on it,,i own a 95 model,and it did this and i found the wire was broken off because of the trailer wiring on it.its s a simple repair to make ,and wont cost nothing but time,,good luck,i hope this help,s..and have a good thanksgiving.

Hey there its nothing major its probally crossed wiring somewhere it be a good idea to take it in to a dealership and have a pro take a look at it or your personal mechanic you go to or to try and save some money go get a mitchels repair Manual for you year make and model and that should give you help if its something as simple as a bad ground but if it were your ground wire you wouldn't have any lights at all because they wouldn't be grounded by the sounds of what happening i say you have crossed wires somewhere hope this info was help full

whatever don't listen to any of that suff, they might be right but there is a recall for chevy blazers with the same problem, check the GMC dealership and if they are recalling the Jimmy's they will be able to take care of you for free.

will be one hundred issues. likely, the grounds for those switches are undesirable, or free. Pull the canopy off your mild, verify the wires operating to it. verify the floor for the door switches. etc.
