Go door to door to all the businesses in your community. Start with one block....then two....then three, etc. Make up a "30 second sell" beforehand, memorize it, then pitch it to the store managers or owners. Let them know you are hard-working and you are responsible. Ask if they need help and have a "contact card" handy if they say no. That way you can tell them to contact you in the future if they have any openings. Pure persistence will win out. If you want it badly, you can have a job within 1 week. BTW...you can get free contact / business cards at www.vistaprint.com. All you pay is the $5.95 S&H fee. All the best.

Publix hires them young. Bag boys (or girls) I think is your best bet. Maybe a movie theater, but some dont hire until 16. Best bet is to call around grocery stores or theaters. Maybe if theres like a mom and pop store around that you go to alot, you can ask them if you can stock shelves or something. Avoid trying to get a job that has to do with cash (cashier jobs) because they wont hire you. Hope that helps :)

well you have to be at least 14 to get a job. When you're 14, you can proboly work at some places. When you're 15, you can work at alot of places like a chinese restaruat or a local pizza place. My advice is, get someone who has a friend in bussiness who can hook you up

in order to get a job at 13, you'd have to know someone personally. In order to work at the grocery store ot movie theaters ( at least all the ones I've heard of ) you have to have working papers. Working papers certify you as legal. And to have working papers you have to be fifteen

If I understand correctly, most states prevent 13 year-olds from working at any job that is not a family business.

You can get a real job! The employer would be jailed under child slave labor laws. The only real job minors can get is if they are models or actors. You will still need permission from your parents, your school and a special work permit too.
