Yeah, it's called Demashitta: Powerpuff Girls Z.

I saw 3 episodes at Otakon in August. I personally don't like it. It's tooo cute, and strips everything on what made the Powerpuff Girls who they are. (For Example, in the anime version, the girls are not related, and weren't created from chemical X).

I've steered away from it for quite a while, but...I may watch it further if I can handle the overcuteness.


Oh well, I think Craig McCraken made a lot of money by selling his characters in Japan. The original must have probably been so popular that when it was canceled in the US, Fans asked for more. But this is a theory.

They may license it in the US, depending on AOL/Time Warner.

yea I know I watched 4 episodes or so.... and of course it isn't the same... the originals art style and overall tone allows for more entertainment....
