Can a finger print be lifted from a leaf ???

I am not sure, but I would think it could on the front side of a green leaf. However, I doubt it could from a dry, brown leaf.

That would depend on the surface texture of the leaf.

Finder prints can be lifted from anything. Now can they tell who they belong to?

Yes, definately. The oils from our Skin can be left on everything we touch even under water, and some times (even) it can be left on something that's been burned.
