One wife and one girlfriend are the best and least trouble-free grouping. The wife can cook, have children, work, or just be rich to start with. The girlfriend is strictly for sex and companionship at football games. Two girlfriends will inevitably find each other out and fight like demons to be number one. The right sort of wife, however, will pretend no knowledge of the one girlfriend as she's secretly glad she doesn't have to put out - or not to the likes of you anyway.
