Your husband will get sick and tired of the same 50 songs when working and for the price of a cheaper one you could upgrade for about 70 dollars more to get an iriver or other mp3 player that could hold 500 songs and have many nice features. Don't get and ipod for him because that would be a waste if he is just listening to music. Try target for nice ones or go to Iriveramerica.com. I rivers also come with an FM tuner with a recorder so he could record songs off the radio if he liked them and a voice recorder to "write" yourself a memo. They also come with a color screen and you can even put pictures on some of them but over all they are a great price for what you get. I got mine instead of an I pod. Hope this was help full

PS: Another reason to get an i river is that they are solid as rock and will not break which it good for working with inside or outside. I mow the lawn with mine and vibration usually breaks electronics but it has vibration and impact absorbers internally. Ive dropped my on solid concrete when running and it barley put a scratch on it. i have a iriver H300 in case you were wondering.

Ipod Shuffle runs about $70.00, is extremely small, and has an aluminum shell. I think it will do fine for his purposes. It will hold about 200-250 songs, and should be durable enough to hold up on the job. It also has a small clip on it that you can use to clip it to your shirt collar.

You can get it at walmart or most other retailers. You can also get it at http://www.apple.com, they do free engraving as well.

He'll probably find that clipping it to his shirt collar in the front and using a tie to wrap up the headphone wires to keep them out of the way will be the best choice while he is working.

You should also think about getting the Sennheiser CX300 In Ear buds instead of Apple's Ibuds. They have a better sound and will stay put, plus they provide a bit of passive noise canceling for when the work gets really loud.

The new iPod shuffle looks great!! Its very small and clips on to clothing; the price isnt bad either compared to other more expensive ipod. Its 79.99 and can hold i think 240 songs... I would get this one if hes doing house work like that because other mp3 player have screens which may get damaged. any way.. check it out,... the new iPod Shuffle,...if you dont like it then walmart has a great variey in their electronic department.

CD gamers i'm no longer waiting for an ipod or mp3 participant yet... consistent with threat whilst i'm 40 in the event that they are not old via then (i'm 29). I actual have had my digital digital camera for 3 years and there continues to be probable a team of stuff i do no longer understand the thank you to do with it yet. Texting, making telephone calls, and taking photos is distinctly plenty all i will do with my cellular telephone. i do no longer prefer to pass with the aid of all of the project of downloading songs just to take heed to them every time everywhere without the skipping or scratching.

Wal-Mart has the best long-lasting mp3 players! They are anywhere from 50-100 dollar at wal-mart. Don't be shocked at these prices b/c they are expensive!
