Not really bad ones, just average and not too deep.
I just heard from someone i was in a accident with and they are getting a estimate on their car. She says there are scuffs and one long white scratch. Am i going to have to pay her 1000's of bucks? : / She is seeing stuff that i did'nt see when we collided. But there was no police report and i have no insurance so i guess i just have to pay..

i own a repair shop, and yes your right in one way you may have to pay ,she may take advantage of you on this one because you didn't have any insurance,id get some before i drove again, but as for the scratches, she may get you real good or she may decide to go easy ,who knows with people today whats on their mind, but one thing is for sure, you need insurance, and since this wasn't reported there wont be an accident against you,so id find some insurance as soon as i could, your taking a big chance driving with out it,its just foolish to take a chance on loosing everything you have now or may have in the future, you know if you had hurt someone you could be paying the rest of your life,so please find some insurance ,and drive safely,,i hope this help,s,,and have a happy thanksgiving.

Ask them to get a few more estaments...and have one be from a shop you send them to. Talk to the guy's and see if they are in line with the others.....thats the only way your going to see if their being honest about it...or trying to take you for a ride. But...why don't you have insurance????, It's the law!!!

No police report ?? How do you know the other party has insurance ?? If they do they should have uninsured motorist insurance. If not, NO POLICE REPORT ??The other party is also guilty. Tell them to go get it fixed on their own you don't know nothin'

You have no insurance! That's illegal in my state not to mention irresponsible. Scratches can be expensive to fix if they are deep. Get insurance.

Take the car to a "detail" shop where they buff, clean and Wax
cars and ask for an "Estimate". They will let you know if it needs
any paint work.
