Did you ever think that maybe his father felt that a ring would make this a serious relationship, and he feels that his son is too young for that now. Or maybe he was hoping you would get angry and stop seeing his son. No matter what it is Your boyfriend should have asked him why, when he didn't ask his dad for the money. I would want to know, and I don't think I'd ask for it back, that is downright rude. Or your boyfriend is playing games and saying his dad told him to get it back.

I dont know your bf so I can't really say. But I can look at from both sides.

1. He might be lying because you recently just got into a fight or he did something behind yr back & he wanted to buy a ring to make up for it but he didn't so he pretended he did..

OR

2. He could have bought you a ring and then his Father say that he's too young to be spending money like that on you and that he should not be committing this early or things of that nature and he might be embarrassed of the conversation he had with his Dad and so he's lying about it.

Talk to your boyfriend. Let him know you understand and that he can tell you. And, figure this thing out. Goodluck!♥

First, it relies upon on how available the money is for the hoop. If he has to dip into his mark downs and places maximum persons of it to the hoop, i'd experience a touch to blame. you even could think with regard to the funds for the marriage. i understand i want to have an extremely small ceremony so my boyfriend and that i will bypass wild on engagement earrings and wedding ceremony bands. i'd a lot extremely have fantastic earrings that i will look at on a daily basis, then spend a large sum of money on a wedding ceremony which will be quicker or later. once you're a guy taking under consideration getting an severe priced ring on your destiny fiance, I say bypass for it once you've weighed out the pro's and con's. once you're the lady asking, I say no, i does not be indignant one bit.

Wow, $60. He must have made that up. No one could afford a $60 ring on just a single income.

Hmm... Well, one. it could be cause his dad doesn't like you enough to think you deserve it. Maybe your boyfriend is running low on cash and can't afford it . But there are many reasons. Be careful, cause this might get uglly.. :[

I think hid dad has no valid opinion on that since he bought it with his own money.
