The Fish business is probably dropping a donation to the EU Commisioners for 'scientific investigation' into the situation!. Commercial fishing is big business and the UK Government loves big business.Seriously countries like Spain have overfished for years and don't give a damn about the EU regulations except when it comes to milking the system to support their lazy a*ses. The global warming scam is a way for governments to tax their populationon on the basis of an unproven theory.Scientific records of temperature variation have only been kept for a few hundred years a mere nothing in the earths history.

Because they fell for the farce that Global Warming is true.
1. The Earth naturally heats up and cools. It has a lot to do with the sun.
2. If Global Warming were a fact, why is it still a theory?
3. There is not enough data points to prove anything. The Earth has been around for hundreds of millions of years. Our actual recorded temperature data is for a few hundred. The sample is so small that the margin of error is much greater than the change in temperature.
4. How did that city get underwater in Indonesia? The water level must have risen a long long time ago, long before humans had anything that could pollute.

It is always about following the money. Who benefits from not paying attention to overfishing? Global warming will cost every country more money than they have if they wait too long to anticipate the problems. 85% of the world's population lives on the coastline. As the ice continues to melt at such an alarming rate, all those people are going to have to move. If there is anything we can do now to slow this down, it will have tremendous economic benefit to do so. That is only one of the many problems warming poses. Over fishing may be benefiting someone in the short run who gives money to politicians, or there may be some other similar explanation. Down the road, there will be less food from the ocean, but somebody is cashing in now.
