Okay I've had problems with hernias prior to being pregant and I'm now 18 weeks pregnant. My family is known to have weak stomach linings and tend to get hernias, which I've already had one surgery. Now that I'm 18 weaks and am gaining weight I've been getting more hernias which are more painful than before. Has anyone else had this problem? Any suggestions?

I had a huge one while pregnant, then it came back 15 years later. Your ob/gyn has probably already told you there's no suggestion really, you'll just have to have surgery again before the baby's a year old. Then after you recover, lots of abdominal exercises to keep muscles strong, that can help make up for your hinky stomach wall. The last one I had was 7 years ago and I still hold onto my tummy when I go #2ey. TMI I know but I'm not taking any chances on that sucker ever coming back!

Hernias are extremely serious and often require surgery. You need to speak with your doctor.
