Chad Channing was the original drummer
a guy called jason everman played guitar for a bit
and pat smear was in nirvana for a short while, not sure what he did though

The only ones I know are Kurt Cobain and Dave Grohl, who is now with the Foo Fighters and also played drums for Queens of the Stone Age
