Write out a procedure to seperate a mixture of Aluminum, Iron, Sand, and Salt. Can someone help me with this, or better yet tell me the answer. It would mean alot, please and thank you.

Add water. Aluminum is less dense, will float on water (I'm assuming you mean small pieces of aluminum, not the whole chunk). Salt will dissolve in water. After removing the aluminum, filter to get salt solution. Heat to evaporate off the water and get back the salt.
Left sand and iron.
Use a magnet to remove the iron. You're left with sand.

Go over it with a magnet to separate the Iron.
Dilute it with water to dissolve the salt, then evaporate the water to reclaim the salt.
Heat the mixture enough so the aluminum melts then filter out the sand?

1) IRON is easily removed by dragging a magnet thrugh the mixture.
2) SALT is removed by washing the mix with water...only salt is soluble...dry the soln to get the salt.
3) You are left wih a mixture of ALUMINUM and SAND...which is more difficult to separate:
...(a) If there is a large difference in particle size, you may be able to screen them apart.
...(b) Otherwise, separation by density difference is possible, but the diff is relatively small, so sophisticated equipment/conditions are required for flotation or centrifugal methods...routine 'panning' is not apt to work.
...(c) If physical nethods are impractical, resort to chemical means is necessary:
4) Chemical separation involves treating the AL/SAND mix with med strength NaOH soln (too conc a soln will dissolve some silica as well). SAND is not affected and can be filtered off...but Al dissolves (as sodium aluminate)...from which AL can be regenerated if necessary, but with some difficulty.

first, to seperate the iron, simply run a magnet over the mixture

second, to remove the salt, mix the mixture in a beaker-full of water, filter the water, the filtrate will be salt solution

third, as for aluminium, you could try panning, like how gold prospectors pan for bits of gold in river soil, the aluminium should settle at the bottom of the pan

the rest is salt
