You can give whole milk anywhere between 10-12 months, but it is also recommended babies have formula until age 1.

The doctor said that they should be off formula by their first birthday. They say the same thing about the bottle. You should slowly transition to milk. The first week divide the milk and formula, use 75% formula and 25% milk. The next week do, 50/50. The following week do, 25% formula and 75% milk. By the fourth week you'll be doing 100% milk.
Hope that helps!

Babies immune and digestive systems aren't mature enough to handle cow's milk before they're a year old. Once they reach a year you can introduce milk to them. My daughter switched from formula to cow's milk cold turkey, so it was a pretty easy transition. If your baby isn't interested in cow's milk the first time you introduce it, try mixing half formula and half cow's milk. Babies need about 24 oz of liquid a day. They shouldn't have more than 6 oz of juice a day, so just work with those numbers and make sure they're getting enough to drink. My daughter is 13 months old and usually drinks 3-4 sippy cups of milk and is doing fantastic!

The general guidance is to wait until your child is AT LEAST 12mths old before switching to whole milk. However, there are many nutrients that are important to a 1yr old that are simply missing in cow's milk. Where I live they make a 'transitional' milk that is specifically for 1 to 3yr olds. Like formula, it is derived from cow's milk but has the missing nutrients that are naturally found in breastmilk (which has continued to change as your baby gets older) added to it. Although yes, this is more expensive than regular whole milk, your baby deserves the very best!

Breastfed babies *generally* do not self-weaned until between 2-4 years of age.
At 1 year solids should only make up 25% of your babies caloric intake.
Formula is more nutritious and easier to digest than milk
Many children experience constipation and other health problems when switched from formula to milk.
So *I* would formula feed until at least age two and as long after that as formula makes up more than 25% of your babies food intake.

try about 11 months and see how the baby reacts to whole milk if the baby keeps it down keep giving it but if it upsets the baby's stomach then wait until the doctor says so

Usually when they are a year old if i remember correctly but that also depends very much on the health of the baby and the Pediatrician's thoughts.

They recommend you wait until 1yr, but some formula companies make "next step" formula for up to 24mo (although that would be very expensive).
