Why can't Black people do something for themselves instead of blaming White people for what they had done in the past. The past is the past. Lets move on. Get a real education, a real job and get a life and stop blaming. Maybe then you'll be seen as another American instead of criminals, welfare pigs, drug sellers...

I'm black and I do not blame anyone for my actions/lifestyle. I got an education and job. It is true there are blacks that whine and try to blame others for their misfortunes but not all just the lazy ones do which make others look bad. Look how the rap industry is... speaking that ebonics crap and disrespecting people It's not cute it's embarrassing and no one will ever give you a chance speaking all ghetto and uneducated. If everyone took responsibility in their own hand we wouldn't have all this finger pointing and blaming.

Do not generalize...do not stereotype, do not make this your only "opinion" of "Black people".
I've had a real education; from grade school, all the way to The Univ. of GA.
I've had jobs since I was 14 and get up every morning and go to a 9-5 now, in conjunction with volunteering at my church, where my husband, who graduated from GA Southern, is the children's minister. He has been working since he was 13, by the way. Then beyond my work, I am a Mom, Wife, Friend, Sister, Daughter, Companion, a child of God
I blame no one for any experience I've had; I give God the glory for his grace, love and mercy; which has kept me and keeps me in soooo many life happenings that were out of and IN my control.
I am an American; My grandfather and Uncle both served in wars so that people like YOU can freely go on yahoo answers and make comments like this.
I am not a criminal, a welfare pig, a drug dealer, a whore, trash, a monkey, a jiggaboo, or any other insult you can think of in your small mind to type. You should rethink being so judgmental, because words have power and they hurt...these things you say about my race of people are only a handful, compared to the MANY inventors, dr's, lawyers, teachers, artist, philanthropist, business owners, ministers, pastors, decorators, designers, agents, producers, chefs, and the awesome list goes on.
We are no more the totality of YOUR words, than you are the totality of those who may think your people in America only run flea markets, corner groceries and Chinese fast food joints, or is that Asian food places; u r Asian, right???
God bless you. Maybe one day you will change your heart, which will change your mind, and that can change what comes out of your mouth.

Wow. Just to let you know not all black ppl blame white ppl. There are SOME that do, but others don't. Oddly enough, around where I live I hear more, "It's cause they're black" than "It's cause I'm black." It seems like white ppl are pulling the race card before black ppl even get the chance to.
When I was in high school there was this guest speaker who was black and looked HOT...from a distance. I was sitting in the front row. As he was coming out I thought we were going to get a speach from Denzel, he was just that fine! But then he got closer and he wasn't all that cute. However, the girls that were farther away weren't seeing him up close so they were cheering and falling out of their seats (so to speak) because of this guy. Later that week, a white girl in one of my classes said they reacted like that cause he was black. That's crazy! Earlier that year there was a speaker and he was black and nobody cheered like that for him just because he came out. That same year the African American Club had a performance. They practiced for weeks and when ever one of their segments were done they got a modest clap. However, a white kid from stage crew came over (not even cute or dressed cute) and moved the mic two inches to the left and he got a louder applause than anyone in the production. Granted there were kids from other races doing this, but the fact of that matter is they were not clapping for the speaker because he was black. But they were clapping for the stage crew kid either because he was white or because they were bored. (I hope it was the second one cause the first is really really sad)

Well us blacks find it easier just to blame whitey, if a wall had been built around Africa 400 years ago and none of us got out,haha us blacks would all still be living in mud huts sending the woman and kids 3 miles to fetch water we would have never invented anything or made things any better just look at Africa now we are brain lazy so its just easier to blame whites, rather than get off our black *** and do anything positive ,have to go, got me benefits to collect from whitey.

There is no single "black people" group. Like white people (and any other ethnicity) there is quite a wide variety of opinion, lifestyle, etc.
Granted, there are enough that fulfill your stereotype. I run into them too.
Then again, have you heard Bill Cosby lately? How would Condi Rice fit into this rant?
Prejudice is the sin of assuming that everyone of a race acts and thinks just the same. You've committed that mistake.

I guess some blacks blame whites for certain things because so many whites blame blacks for certain things. I'm white and I know it. But, I don't feel ashamed for being white. My ancestors are from Germany and Ireland. They didn't have slaves.

That's like me asking why Asian people are gold diggers. Because I know some that are, it absolutely doesn't mean they all are, right? Or asking why Asian people can't drive. Or why Asian people are nerds. Or so on. Don't play your prejudice card because you can't think for yourself or bring logic into your life.
I don't blame anyone for anything. It's all about being responsible - you don't need a skin color for that. You either are or you aren't. Same with being intelligent.

Why are you generalizing? Did you talk to me and every single Black person on the earth..NO so how can you conclude that ALL Black do that. Some do blame White people, like some Asian people are smart but obviously your not one of them.
