does anybody have the really really hard gristle bit of your ear pierced ( the bit nerest your head) i want to get it pierced, just wondering if it really hurts i have been told it does

I have 10 piercings. I also got that part of my ears done. Let's just say, it hurt worse than my tongue. The worst part is trying to talk on the phone or lay on that side of your face when you are sleeping. For me,after about 6 months was when all the pain totally went away.

I don't know what you're talking about. I believe you are talking about the tragus which is the flap located over the caved in part of your ear where you would insert a Q-Tip. It's painful but if you clean it right and take care of it, it could heal fine. Very prone to infection though.

it really didn't hurt to get it done after the first night trying to sleep it was really sore. t took much much longer to heal. I even did the small flesh on the side. If you don't go ouch easily you should be OK. good luck

i got a pircing on my ears it burn sooo muchhhhh dont pirce ur head it will bleed everyday adn yuo will have promblems with it

to be honest it really hurts, but it depends on the person and how they can manage pain

some have told me it did other told me that it didnt really hurt...and its called your cartilage (sp?)...but yeah i know people that have done it themselves.
