My man is a gyn/obs and we were talking about that the other day cause I would like to have twins. He said to me, that when women take fertility drugs, chances of having multiple births are really high. The chances go up depending on the drug your taking. We're talking from 2 babies to even 5

Yes, they can. How many depends on a lot of factors. You do not, however, want to take the drugs without a doctor to monitor you very carefully. If you haven't gotten pregnant in 18 years, you should probably be seeing a reproductive endocrinologist to find out why. They will have options for you and be able to help you.

Good luck!

The type of fertility treatment you use would determine your chances of multiple babies. Say you had in vitro- they may put 3-5 fertilized eggs into you.. all five may plant.. some may plant or you may not plant any.

Clomid and other drugs increase your chances of releasing multiple eggs but the likelyhood of multiples would be less then invitro.

You should speak with a fertility specialist.

Yes, I have seen those talk shows where the mother was on fertility drugs and had 8 babies at the same time. My father in law knew someone who was on those pills that had triplets.

sure, optimal fertility drugs do improve the prospect of having distinctive births (twins, triplets, quadruplets, and former). communicate on your nicely-being care expert approximately which drug to maintain on with via ability of reality it relies upon on why you and your better half are experiencing infertility. What works for one woman won't unavoidably paintings for the subsequent woman.

my cousin got triplets on fertility drugs -- most of those extreamly large number of births stories that you hear of in the news are from fertility drugs!
