In the episode where Ricky sings "We're Having a Baby" and he finds out he is the father, Lucy and Ricky both get very emotional. Is this real or are they just acting?

i watched the luciel(sp?) ball documentary.... and they said they put a lot of they're real lives into some of their shows, ie. their baby news, vacations, and new house.

It was real. Lucy was pregnant. Lucy and Desi (Ricky) had their ups and downs throughout their marriage. They had their emotional times, and was happy to have another child. So I would say their emotions were sincere at the time, not just an act.

Acting, but some story lines did follow their life's. And she was pregnant. They had to write in into their show. There are books about their life together and their tv show.
