I noticed that in our hallway and bathroom there are little bugs that attach to the wall. At first I thought it was a little piece of dust because it was a brown/gray color. It's is a marquis shape and is totally flat. I just recently saw how they move. I little "worm-like" head pops out of the top of the marquis and it creeps along. For the most part, they just hang out on the wall and don't move that often. They have no legs or wings (at least visible to the human eye). Are these things going to overtake our house? We are located in Southern California. I can send a digital picture if that will help.
Any information would be appreciated. Thanks!

Please email me a picture if you can get one with something near it like a penny or something to show the size.

Does it appear to be stuck to the wall? On sheetrock or wood?

And does it appear to have waste behind it stuck to the wall too?

It sould like a rock mite. I am not sure what the REAL name is, But they tend to attach to the wall or in most case the soft textured ceiling and borrow into the sheetrock.

As far as I know they are easy to kill, But you don't have much choice about different poisions to kill them because it requires direct spray and will stain your walls, And if you smash them it too leave a small mark on the wall... They are harmless to people and do not bite. But they will lay eggs and create more!

bugs belong outside the house. You can vacuum them off the walls and put the bag in the dumpster. Set off a bug bomb next time you go shopping for a couple of hours. Just cover all the food in the open. And I still dream about you!
